Études. Dicen que la mejor forma de mantener en forma a una compañía de ballet, es reponer Études de vez en cuando. (Observen cómo les cuesta a los rusos saltar hacia abajo. Y no es una perogrullada; es estilo).

Events. Ahora se llama evento a cualquier tontería, pero con Cunningham era otra cosa.

Elna Lauesgaard. Por esta bailarina danesa me pusieron mi nombre, y aunque no figure en los registros oficiales, según su familia fue ella y no otra quien posó para modelar el cuerpo de la popular Sirenita de Copenhague. A ver quién mejora esta anécdota.

Elna Lauesgaard. I was named after this Danish ballerina, and although it’s not officially recorded, her family always said it was her who posed for the body of the popular Little Mermaid sculpture in Copenhagen. Let’s see if someone has a better anecdote than this one.
