Hay escenografías que impactan por su simplicidad, la crudeza de su trazo y la perspectiva teatral que proponen. Cuando llegas a Stonehenge, el volumen de las piedras te clava contra el suelo.
En ocasiones los decorados se construyen en torno a la aparición de un personaje, que debe hacerse visible en un momento determinado, y provocar así en el espectador el efecto que buscaba el autor. Como en Stonehenge, donde el sol asoma perpendicularmente en los solsticios de verano e invierno; el momento, allí, lo es todo.
Muy pocos diseños consiguen además engrandecer el espacio que delimitan, convirtiendo el escenario en un lugar mágico al que artistas y público seguirán acudiendo, como predestinados. En Stonehenge se reunen, inevitablemente, los muertos y los vivos; como en los teatros y en las bibliotecas.
2014 ha sido el año en el que los expertos nos han desvelado ciertos misterios acerca de Stonehenge. También, por fin, conseguí llegar hasta allí.

Some stage designs are impressive because of their simplicity, the rawness of their tracing and the theatrical perspective. When you get to Stonehenge, the volume of the stones drives you down to earth.
Stagings are often built to make more interesting the way one of the characters -which must be visible at a given time- goes on stage; and then the spectator faints, as the author desired. That happens also in Stonehenge, the sun shows up perpendicularly during the summer and winter solstices; timing is everything.
Very few sets can also magnify the demarcated area, turning the stage into a magical place where artists and audiences continue to come back, over and over, as predestined. In Stonehenge, inevitably, dead and living people get together; as in theaters and libraries.
In 2014 the experts have revealed us some mysteries about Stonehenge. I also found my way to that place.
