Desmedida, juguetona y nada frívola. Así era mi Maya favorita.

Alegre y poderosa; saltadora intrépida y vivaz bailarina que desbarató a manotazos a los faunos -y fueron muchos- que le tocaron las narices dentro y fuera del Bolshoi.

Aquí, Maya Plissetskaya baila La noche de Walpurgis, de la ópera Fausto, en el Teatro Bolshoi. Insuperable.

Eternally playful, but never frivolous. That was my favourite Maya. 

Happy and cheerful; intrepid jumper and bright ballerina who spoiled all the many fauns that tried to annoy her, in and out the Bolshoi Theatre. 

Here, she dances Walpurgis Night, from the opera Faust, at the Bolshoi Theatre. Insuperable.
