No hay ningún lugar del mundo comparable a un teatro. Sólo, quizás, una catedral. La de Toledo nos vale. Y el Fernando de Rojas, también; si algún día tengo mucho dinero, compraré ese teatro sólo para poder tapizarlo como merece.
Es Toledo una ciudad hermosa y llena de arte por dentro y por fuera que he disfrutado de niña, adolescente y adulta. Mi padre es un cicerone brillante lleno de anécdotas y sabiduría. He disfrutado mucho, muchísimo, con ese Tableau Bournonville que han preparado Carmina y Pablo. Qué bien montado; con cuánto respeto, detalle e ilusión han puesto cada brazo, cada cabeza. Brillante trabajo llevado a cabo por sus jóvenes bailarines. La Tarantella de Napoli me ha emocionado tanto como ver un rato antes a mi hijo maravillado ante el Transparente de la Catedral. Qué carita tenía de asombro, cómo escuchaba de atento las explicaciones.
Nada mejor para antes de una clausura hospitalaria que un Bournonville bien bailado y una catedral bien construida. Hasta la vuelta.

orld like a theater. Only, perhaps, a cathedral. Toledo’s Cathedral is ok. And the Fernando de Rojas Theater, too. If I ever have looooooots of money, I will buy this theater just to make it upholstered as it deserves.
Toledo is a beautiful city full of art that I have enjoyed as a child, as a teenager and as an adult. My father is a brilliant cicerone full of anecdotes and wisdom. I enjoyed very, very much, the Tableau Bournonville that Carmina and Pablo staged. How well choreographed, so respectful, with so much detail and illusion in each port de bras.
