Penitente, El. Lo coreografió Martha Graham para Eric Hawkins, y la única vez que lo he visto en el escenario, lo interpretaba Baryshnikov. Qué impresión.
Passacaglia. Me gusta Le jeune homme et la mort con la orquestación de Leopold Stokowsky. [Por fin lo dije.]
Paquita. A veces soy tan superficial que necesito que me bailen -porque sí- un montón de variaciones, todas difíciles y preciosas. Qué le voy a hacer.
Petenera. Fuera gafes.
PNB (Pacific Northwest Ballet). Me gusta mucho, mucho esta compañía.
Penélope. Que genialidad, eso de tejer y destejer. En la vida, casi todo se soluciona dejando pasar el tiempo.
Polka. El paradigma de la alegría.
Paraíso cerrado. Este hermoso verso de Soto de Rojas da título a una estupenda antología poética de los siglos XVI y XVII que me acompañó en mi primer encierro hospitalario. Qué emoción, cuando me la trajeron a la cama.
Pas de deux. I heard that the first pas de deux with adagio, male variation, female variation and coda, was added by Jules Perrot to Saint-León’s Coppélia. He was a real smart guy, but all the other choreographers, were just copycats.
Placido Domingo. Wow.
Penitente, El. Martha Graham choreographed this solo for Jose Limon, and the only time I’ve seen this piece on stage, was danced by Baryshnikov. What an impression.
Passacaglia. I like Le jeune homme et la mort with Leopold Stokowski’s arrangement. [Oh, yes. I finally said it.]
Paquita. Sometimes I’m so shallow that I need someone to dance for me, without a reason, lots of variations, all tough and beautiful.
Petenera. No jinxes.

Penelope. Fantastic, that idea of weaving and unweaving. In life, almost everything can be solved as time goes by.
Polka. The paradigm of joy.
Paraíso cerrado. (Closed Paradise). This beautiful verse by Soto de Rojas is the title of a wonderful anthology of poetry of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries that I read during my first hospital confinement. What a thrill when a friend brought it to my bed.
