Algunos creadores son especialmente sensibles a la opinión que los niños tienen de su obra. Yo misma escucho a mi hijo en cuestiones artísticas siempre que puedo y tengo sus opiniones muy en cuenta.
El Museum of Modern Art ha presentado una audioguía llamada Unadulterated MoMA, en la que las principales piezas de su colección son explicadas por niños de 3 a 9 años, y recomiendo que no se la pierdan. A veces te ríes a carcajadas, pero otras te pones a temblar por sus comentario tan certeros.
Mi hijo de 9 años, tras escuchar atentamente las explicaciones de algunas obras que previamente había inspeccionado, ha sido tajante con su veredicto: “Me parece una idea fantástica. Creo que los artistas estarían muy contentos”. Amén.
Some artists are very sensitive to the perception that children have of their work. In fact, I listen carefully to my son in artistic matters whenever I can, and I think highly of his oppinion.
The Museum of Modern Art has presented an audio tour called Unadultered MoMA, in which some pieces of art from the collection are explained by children 3-9. It’s a MUST. Sometimes you’ll laugh out loud, but others you’ll tremble with their accurate comments.
My 9 year-old son -after listening carefully the explanations about some artworks that he had previously searched- was unequivocal with his verdict: “I think it’s a great idea. I think the artists would be very happy.” Amen.
