Tras el arrollador éxito de Steamboat Willy, el primer corto de animación sonoro en el que Mickey Mouse aparecía silbando en la pantalla, la factoría Disney descubrió el poder invencible de sincronizar música y movimiento. Su colección de Silly Symphonies son un derroche de imaginación sin límites. Todo estaba permitido.
En esta época en la que los dibujos eran manuales, solían recrear las escenas con actores para luego pasar las imágenes grabadas al papel, de la mano experta de sus dibujantes. Ignoro cómo hicieron la danza del ciempiés.
