Day 37_In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated

[People of the world, the Coronavirus has locked us up. But not only will it not be able to take us, but we will make the most of the lockdown. Here’s my idea for the day.]

Not safe for cardiacs.
William Forsythe says that ballet is full of rules and full of exceptions. He knows them all, one by one, and handles them with breathtaking ease. With In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, he even changed the way we dress, comb our hair, walk and behave in the rehearsal studio.
In the video you can see my friend Elena Vostrotina, who these days is doing three ballet bars a day at home and stretches for hours while chatting on her cell phone. There’s a reason for that.
