Day 54_Jacopo Godani

[People of the world, the Coronavirus has locked us up. But not only will it not be able to take us, but we will make the most of the lockdown. Here’s my idea for the day.]

Godani’s dancers seem to be full of hands. As if an extra pair of arms were coming out of the center of their back and chest, or from the middle of their thighs. Many arms that move randomly but, in their own way, in an organized manner.
In any case, they don’t behave like human beings or pretend to. They are elastic, fibrous and rare.
Jacopo Godani moves his dancers masterfully, but he also knows how to dress and light them. He is, as they say, a choreographer.
A good one, I might add. Everything he does interests me.
