Con la S de…

Sofiane Sylve. Sensacional.

Soutenu.

Sofiane Sylve. Sensational.

Soutenu. They always come with piqués, like french fries with fried eggs.

September Song. Because I love it.

Stephanie Saland. Since this beautiful lady retired from dancing, the third pas de deux from In the Night should be removed from the stage. I’d be very pleased.

Seguidilla. Very well known and friendly, it appears unexpectedly.

Semeniaka, Ludmila. So elegant, obviously not from the Bolshoi.

Semizorova, Nina. Pure Bolshoi, but what beautiful arms, Lord.

Summerspace. What else?

Salvatore Taglioni. According to all his contemporaries, he was the best and most prolific choreographer of the Romanticism. None of his ballets survived him.

Siren. It is the female lead in Balanchine’s Prodigal Son. And we, women, would love to feel like mermaids from time to time.

      1. Well… it’s something very personal. Obviously, I always prefer the Mariinsky style, which is much more elegant and refined. The Bolshoi virtuosity of jumps and those Grigorovitch’s ballets full of heroes are not my favourite!
