Day 10_Café Müller

[People of the world, the Coronavirus has locked us up. But not only will it not be able to take us, but we will make the most of the lockdown. Here’s my idea for the day.]

Repetition, routine, extreme behaviours that lead to the challenge of making the everyday extraordinary… almost everything that Pina Bausch transforms into emotion is captured in her Café Müller. The ordinary seen through the conscious and the unconscious. A lot to think about.
We’re still locked in and the applauses every evening from our windows, for those who are working for us out there, are only growing and growing. It won’t become routine.
